Tom Hurley partnered with Member Benefits in 2016 as a Strategic Advisor. Tom brings to the table 42 years of public media development experience including holding senior development and marketing roles at WMHT, WKAR and WGVU. In 1984 he joined Hub Mail Advertising in Boston to serve the direct mail needs of public TV and radio. In 1992 Tom was a founder of DMW Direct, a full service direct response fundraising agency. He is now an independent consultant. Tom has served as a member of the PBS Development Advisory Committee, is the author of "In the Trenches" a guide to practical fundraising and is a regular conference speaker. His award-winning clients have included stations in all market sizes.
Dave Fish, as CEO of Member Benefits, has over 30 years of leadership experience in online marketing, direct response fundraising, electronic publishing, membership/subscription systems, and large-scale marketing databases. Dave began his career on the technology side, serving as VP of Systems at Epsilon and Engineering Director for the IBM/Lotus Division. He then lead several online marketing and database ventures as COO at CMGI/Engage, President/CEO of Avaki, and CEO of IMN. He holds a BS in Computer Science from MIT, an MS in Information Sciences from Harvard, and an MBA from HBS.
Joanna Adams-West, Vice-President of Marketing & Creative Director, has been a part of the Member Benefits team since 2007. Her focus is on brand design, operations/production management, direct response and product marketing which clients can use to enhance and expand their MemberCard program. Joanna graduated from Merrimack College with a B.F.A. in Digital Media. Prior to joining Member Benefits, Joanna was an Assistant Art Director for a Boston-based event planning agency and also spent time in Florida as a professional intern with the Walt Disney Company. Joanna is an avid photographer who especially enjoys documenting travel adventures with her husband or fun moments with her rescue dog, Gus.
Paul Carragher, Director of Business Development, enjoys helping companies get business in the door. Whether working with lead generation, events, or through a member benefit program that will equate to new or repeat business, the endgame is the same - helping businesses grow. Paul has spent his career in various industries working for such companies as Matthew Bender, Thomson-Reuters Corporation, Monster Worldwide, Inc., Hewlett-Packard Company, IDEA Health & Fitness, and Franchise.com. Happy to be living on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, Paul loves all that Portsmouth has to offer including great restaurants, access to the beach, and for the most part, a flat running landscape!! Paul often brings team mascot Audrey, a Carolina Dog, into the office as a great stress reliever.
Hannah Smith is the Group Director of Client Services here at Member Benefits. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to New Hampshire to attend the University of New Hampshire as a Recreation Management & Policy major, aspiring to work in development for nonprofits. Hannah graduated from UNH in 2012 and now resides in Portsmouth, NH where she enjoys all of the perks of New England living. Hannah has worked for Member Benefits since December of 2012.
Beth Woods is the Director of Benefit Sales Operations & Human Resources and manages the Benefit Sales team as well as oversees the Customer Service department and Human Resources for Member Benefits. She works closely with the Client Services department to coordinate timeliness of new additions for the non-profit organization's loyalty programs.
Prior to joining Member Benefits, Beth was the Vice President of Operations for Zone Labs, Inc., a health and nutrition company based in Massachusetts. She was responsible for inventory management of both finished goods and raw materials, building strong vendor relationships, administrative & office management and event planning.
When not at Member Benefits, Beth enjoys teaching aerobics classes as well as many other outdoor activities with family and friends.
Steve Denoncourt has been the Production Manager on the Member Benefits team for over twelve years, with an extensive print industry background of more than twenty years. Our state of the art, in-house production facility has grown and evolved over the years to give clients the highest quality product and fastest turn around speed possible. A lifetime resident of New Hampshire and avid PBS viewer, Steve strives to produce a consistent product both stations and non profits will be proud to distribute among their supporting member base.
