MemberCard Benefits FAQs

Generally, when you order two or more main courses or entrées, the least expensive entrée will be deducted from your check total. You may use the MemberCard once at each participating restaurant. Simply present your MemberCard when paying the bill to receive your free entrée; the restaurant will mark out its assigned number on the back of your card or directory. Please remember to base your tip on the check total before discount, and thank the business for supporting public broadcasting by participating in the MemberCard program.
"Anytime" means that you may use your MemberCard to receive the 2-for-1 savings any time the restaurant or benefit provider is open for business.
We recommend signing up for benefit alert emails which are sent weekly to notify you of any changes to your benefits. Click on the "Local Benefits" tab at the top of this page to access the sign up form. You may unsubscribe at any time in the "My Account" section located in the upper right hand corner tab. The MemberCard is not valid on any major US or Canadian holiday, including Canada Day, New Year's Eve and Day, MLK, Valentine's, Presidents, St. Patrick's, Good Friday, Easter, Mother's, Memorial, Father's, Independence, Labor, Columbus, Veterans, Remembrance, Victoria, Thanksgiving, Boxing, and Christmas Eve and Day. The MemberCard is also not valid in conjunction with other specials (Early Bird Specials, etc.), discount offers (such as senior citizen discounts), or coupons. Please contact the benefit provider in advance to determine if there are any additional usage restrictions.
You may order TravelCards online using the link "Order TravelCards" at the top of this page or by calling (800) 423-7645 should you wish to speak directly with one of our knowledgeable Member Services staff. The MemberCard is accepted in most US states and provinces within Canada.
Unless otherwise noted, no more than three MemberCards may be used in any one group, and a separate MemberCard must be presented for each 2-for-1 offer.
For satisfactory service, please tip the standard 15-20% based on the total check before any discount.
The MemberCard program is a 2-for-1 offer, therefore it is up to the restaurant's discretion whether they wish to provide the discount for MemberCard holders who are dining alone. We suggest that you contact the restaurant before visiting to determine whether you will be able to use your card as a single diner.
Should any problem arise with any of your MemberCard benefits, or if you are aware of a company wishing to participate in the MemberCard program, please call (800) 423-7645 during normal business hours (EST). This number will put you in touch with Member Benefits, the company assisting your local organization with the MemberCard program. You may also fill out an online feedback form, and a member of our Customer Service team will follow-up with you.
